Many people want a guru and seek for it. Many spiritual giants who have reached great heights talk about the guru’s grace. The scriptures emphasize the need of guru .
What does the guru do-?
* First to meet a guru one needs a great blessing of 1000 life time, divines grace and compassion of the teacher itself. Actually the guru will awaken       the kundalini shakhi which will give spiritual thirst and inclination. Without this awakening one will be going in circles.
* Next the guru clarifies the concepts of spirituality. When you listen to a living guru you will see the insight of common things and this insight will       grow tremendously.
* guru’s insights and techniques on meditation will be amazing and this will produce results very fast. His blessing and good wishes is enough for       techniques to open up. When any person listen once to their words (which will have tremendous shakthi)  one will understand anything spontaneously and       apply it with out obstructions.
* When you speak his words or quote his words people’s heart and energy will get purified that they feel inspired to meet him. The guru’s life will       itself be an example and inspiring. Dedication and commitment will be awe some. One will special and meaningful.  When he touches you with love it is       very deep.
* He will keep the flame of spirituality alive when worldly churning happens. Priorities and values of life will become clear. The temptation of worldly       life and tempest of samsara will stop. Worldly success will become tasteless and insipid and in his presence you will feel life has become meaningful.
* Where ever you run, his memory will haunt you. When you remember his name and thank the guru, one will see the practice taking off. He will guard your       practice invisibly. When you do what he says you will see the results which will take eons by person’s own effort and will.
* Experiences will multiply and faith will be restored and practice will take off. One will be tested of course but then it worth it.
* Effort produces tiredness but a guru’s words awaken so fast that you will see the energy shift effortlessly.
* He is the light in darkness, a flash of lighting in a dark forest and a savior of the soul.
